Utrecht University has placed 4,600 solar panels on nine buildings in the Utrecht Science Park De Uithof. Annually these panels generate one million kWh of electricity.Along with the University Medical Center Utrecht and HU University of Applied Sciences, Utrecht Science Park De Uithof has the largest area of solar panels (8000) in Utrecht and belongs to the top in the Netherlands.
